Sashiko Reef Panel by Sylvia Pippen Designs
Sashiko is often referred to as Japanese embroidery. Literally, it means 'little stab'. The beauty of sashiko is in its simplicity. Sashiko is worked with a straight stitch or running stitch.
This panel is screened on "marine" batik Prisma Dye from Robert Kaufman. There is no need to transfer the design, just stitch over the dashed lines.
Finished size 14" x 40"
