AGF solids are lovely and fun to work with. I love this program! I had almost no solids when I started and now I have my choice of colors.
It will be awhile before I complete my project but I carefully chose Red Thread fabric for my pieced quilt top. I believe it will be beautiful. Rich colors. quality fabric.
Had a wonderful time in the zoom class with Rachel. She encourages her students to put their own spin on her pattern. I created a tablerunner and will make the quilt later this year. I’m looking forward to more zoom classes with Rachel Daisy this year. 💕
This was the first zoom class I’ve taken and it was such a lovely way to spend the afternoon. Looking forward to another one!
This workshop, as with any workshop with Rachaeldaisy, was inspirational and enlightening. I learned a new technique that was demonstrated for preparing appliqué that I had never seen. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to learn from such a fun and creative designer.
This was a great workshop but I wish it was taped as I had an emergency work task that caused me to miss the second half of it. Still working on the quilt though!
It was my first virtual class, and it didn’t disappoint! Rachael was fun and personable, as were the students. My only small disappointment was not being able to see her added/new technique she showed us one more time. I liked her suggestion for the appliqué, but I’ve been appliquéing for many years and I went back to my old ways, but I’d like to experience her technique once more. I highly recommend the class!
I really loved learning how Rachel uses scraps in her work. I am totally addicted to use up as much as I can of my scraps. Working on Groove Is In the Heart used only a small portion of my scrap stash, but it truly was a fun project. Still working on appliquéing the half hearts down and can't wait to get them together. Thank you Jen and Rachel for a wonderful class. A picture of some of the hearts is attached.
Although I have to delay starting my stitching I am so looking forward to such a beautifully designed woodlands to mimic our new life! And mushrooms! I do love mushrooms. Thank you as always! Your talent is so appreciated.
It picks up lint very well in my machine. Easier to get the lint off the silicone brush than using an eyebrow brush. I like the little spikes on the end to grip lint in those tight spaces.
Thank you for sending the pattern so quickly.
I had ordered the patter for the class and notified that the sign up was available. I just didn’t act on it quickly enough so I signed up on the waitlist. I doubt that a spot opens up, but it’s great that Red Thread Studio even offers a waitlist! Appreciate it!
I love using these needles when stitching my English Paper Pieces together. They are long, very slim and stitches do not show! Red Thread is best place to purchase these needles. Ships quickly & very friendly!
I just love the feel of the fabrics. So soft and high quality cotton. AGF may cost a little more than other companies sometimes, but it is well worth it. I don’t even worry about pre-washing my fabrics. I highly recommend all of their fabrics for your next heirloom.
I keep a supply of SF101 on hand all the time, it’s my go to when adding a little body to any project when you need it.
I do not order scrap bags often but they sure are fun to receive. Surprises in every bag!
As i expected the quilt pattern I ordered was exactly what I ordered. What made this such a memorable experience was me not reading the order was a Pre-Order. After a reasonable amount of time my order had not arrived so I sent an email concerned about delivery (after all it was Christmas). To my surprise I received the NICEST phone call! (Yes!!!! A real phone call with a real person on the other end, on a Sunday!) I was embarrassed at my oversight but they were so amazing and nice. Then to top it off, the pattern arrived EARLIER then expected in a simple but cute packaging.
I will definitely order from Red Thread again!
I have been saving my son's worn out jeans for quite a while and have not quite figured out where to start...I have not started my project quite yet but had a lovely cup of tea and read over the instructions and they walk you through all of it from deconstruction of the jeans to the making of two different versions of the pattern. Lots of confidence building.
What a lovely way to display doilies made by mom & grandmother. Think I will crochet some myself to add to this quilt. Thanks for tempt me by showing this beauty in one of you msgs. Pattern was shipped quickly and in a nice envelope!
Very supportative staff as my grandchild and I select colors for a graduation quilt for my grandchild. They send out my order(s) of selected fabric quickly. Fabric is high quality and vibrant colors. Soon, I'll have a healthy order when selection is confirmed after mockups that I'm using as pillows.
I just love ordering from you gals everything is always shipped so promptly.. and the quality of your goods is always superior. When I have my embroidery quilt completed I’ll make sure to send you a picture thanknyou so much for your service and hospitality
Sincerely
Susan Hollis
I have had at least a dozen old tea towels from my mother-in-law dating back to the early 70's and always wanted to make something with them. Now I can! This book will give me plenty of inspiration, if only I could remember where I put them.
