Great product. Easy and very detailed instructions. I haven't done English paper piece work in a while, so it's a learning curve right now. It will be a good winter project. I don't quilt by machine and enjoy hand projects. Will shop this location again. It shipped fast and in great condition. Great service
I now have four of these. Just grab and go from wool embroidery threads to quilting threads. I like to run a piece of velcro along the rough edge.
Had a great time , Rachael is a wonderful teacher and hostess. She always offers additional information on how else you can use the pattern. I made a small wall hanging. Always love learning new techniques.
There's something special about dedicating an afternoon to the creative pursuit of folding fabric triangles to construct wildly diverse and gorgeous squares that become pillows reinforced by the instruction of quilt artist and instructor Racheldaisy. Red Thread Studio made this happen for a number of us--the class sold out--and I am still reveling in my scrappy efforts. Thank you to all who put this together and all who participated. It was a joyful event.
First off I think their fabrics are the best. I wanted the solid color chart because of all the beautiful prints they do and I can use them as accents in my quilts!!!
All of Rachael’s classes aspire great. So much information presented. She goes out of her way to individually help all participants.
Presentation was easy to understand and allowed time for questions by the participants. Instructor was helpful in suggesting alternative methods for assembling the block when I indicated I preferred not to use glue.. I was successful in completing the project the following week.
I first saw Rachel Daisy work in Sarasota, Florida at a quilt store. I bought the book. It is in English and French. What fun! ! I love the color and the three dimensional designs that she does. The class was AMAZING. I look forward to more classes.
Loving the months of fabrics I’ve already received. I have not used any yet, but cannot wait to do so. Love the quality and the allotment of colors that come each month.
I have received 2 months of my 18 month subscription. I’m amazed how lovely these fabrics are. So far most have been grey, beige, blacks and whites. I have a totally new respect for grey a color I would have totally over looked. I can see how it will become one of my new neutrals. It will be so easy to order with confidence as I now have fabric I can see how it will look. I don’t have to take my print fabric to stores in poor lighting and try to find solids. I can hardly wait to get my new fabrics each month. For me this is a fabulous investment.
I have been collecting your solids for more than 6 months. Every month I look forward to my new delivery. So far I have not used any of them, but I touch them and enjoy the stunning colors. I am looking forward to finding the perfect quilts to use these with. Until then, I will continue my collection and love feeling the soft fabrics!
I am really enjoying collecting the Art Gallery Solids Collection. It is such a complete color range- and I understand there will be some new colors released next year. Always arrive as promised.
Love the feel of AG fabrics and colors are wonderful.
There are two reasons I am thankful to participate in the Bundle of the Month Club. First, I love a good surprise! Second, I am adding to a stunning collection of color. Some are colors I would gravitate to on the shelf while others are what I really need to balance my stash.
I love Art Gallery Solids, they are my favorites, so soft and not thick or stiff, just wonderful to work with The monthly subscription is great, but I am so looking forward to getting in the colors, mostly neutrals so far, so waiting in anticipation for COLOR.
Hi Cyndi,
Thank you so much for your wonderful review! ❤️ We're so happy you're enjoying Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids and their soft hand.
The color is definitely coming! 😊 Because everyone begins with the colorway that's shipping when they join, you happened to start during one of our more neutral colorways. In October, we'll circle back to Colorway 1, where the journey begins with oranges and then moves into vibrant reds, followed by many more colorful bundles ahead.
We're excited for you to watch your collection grow into a complete palette of all 203 Pure Solids. Happy stitching!
I really love the fabric colors in the fabrics that I receive but honestly, the fabric is a bit light in weight for my taste. It feels thin when I cut it and then sew with it. The colors are great and if I didn’t live in the country where our town quilt shop closed, I would just purchase fabric as I needed it. I’m a soft hearted person and I’m not usually critical but you did ask. Thanks. Sharon
Hi Sharon,
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughtful feedback. I completely understand that fabric weight is a personal preference, and I appreciate your honesty.
Art Gallery Fabrics Pure Solids are known for their smooth, fine weave and soft hand, which many quilters love because they create beautiful quilts with crisp piecing and minimal fraying. That said, I also understand that some quilters simply prefer a heavier weight fabric, and that's perfectly okay.
I'm so glad to hear you've been enjoying the colors, and I truly appreciate you giving the program a try. Thank you again for your kind and constructive review. ❤️. Yours in stitching, Jen
I am truly enjoying my monthly subscription with Red Thread Company! Receiving a beautiful array of solid-colored fabrics each month has added so much variety and versatility to my fabric collection.
I typically do not purchase many solids, so this subscription has introduced me to a wonderful range of colors, values, and hues that I might not have selected on my own. Having these solids readily available has expanded my creative options and given me more opportunities to add contrast, balance, and dimension to my quilts.
Each month feels like a special addition to my quilting repertoire,. I am very pleased with the quality, variety, and inspiration this subscription provides!
I have received eight of the shipments (my understanding is that there are 12 in total) and, well, there are a LOT of neutrals 😁. If you look at the color chart, I have colors 452 through 917. I don’t see how I can get the rest in only four more shipments, so maybe I am wrong about the number of shipments.
If you make portrait quilts and need all colors of skin tones, this selection would be ideal. The fabric is top quality.
Hi Tina,
Thank you for your review and for sharing your experience! I'm so glad you're enjoying the quality of the fabric.
The program actually spans 18 months, not 12, so there's still lots of color ahead! Because new members begin with the colorway that's shipping when they join, you happened to start during one of our more neutral colorways. In October, we'll circle back to Colorway 1, where the journey begins with oranges and then moves into vibrant reds, followed by the full spectrum of colors over the remaining months.
The goal of the program is to build a complete collection of all 203 Pure Solids, one colorway at a time, so by the end you'll have every color, from neutrals to bold brights. ❤️. Yours in stitchign, Jen
Thank you again for your feedback, and I hope you'll enjoy watching your collection become even more colorful in the months ahead.
Teacher was fantastic. She took her time to make sure everyone understood the instructions and repeated steps as many times as needed. Writen materials were clear and nicely illustrated.
