One Touch Wood Embroidery Hoop by Cosmo Lecien

While I like the idea of not fiddling with a **** on a hoop, I found this one not to my liking for two reasons. First, the spring is difficult to work, although I understand it needs to be tight to hold the fabric firmly. Secondly, the spring does reduce the stitching area and there is a small gap at the top of the spring that does not tighten the fabric. I'll stick to the hoops with screws, which is what I've always used (but it doesn't ever hurt to try something new which you can pass on to a friend if it's not to your liking).

I like this little hoop as it is extremely light weight so you don't get the fatigue while doing small projects. Ordered it to work on the Field Journal embroidery BOM and it is working out nicely. The wood portion is nice and smooth so nothing catches on it.

This embroidery hoop works great and holds my fabric securely while stitching. Service and Shipping were fast. Jen and her team are the best.
