Create your own pocket garden with this little project. It is a sweet quilt combining cotton or cotton lawn fabrics and linen. Add some embroidered flowers and you have the perfect small garden.
The embroidery stitches used are simple, but it’s the combination of colors and stitches that makes this quilt unique.
For this workshop, Veronique has combined 4 of the flowers from the original pattern and covers all the stitches used in the project. Ideal for beginners, or to refresh your knowledge, this is a very portable project to take anywhere with you…not too big or too complicated.
We will also look at different ways of doing the appliqué leaves or petals.
Once you have finished the two blocks, you can decide if you would like to extend your garden with more flowers or just make a needle book.
